Studio is located in West Berkeley. 8-12 people per workshop. We also do private workshops by request.
Workshop cost: $75. You will learn the basics of how the risograph works and how to print from Photoshop. Bring payment with you to workshop in form of cash or check. You will make 20 two-color prints measuring 11”x17”. We encourage you to bring a digital file to print from for this workshop, and your laptop or tablet is useful, but Photoshop or digital experience is not required at all. You can also bring a physical copy of your artwork if you prefer to use the riso scanner bed, however part of what you are learning is how to print through the computer-riso interface so we recommend you try printing from Photoshop at least this once!
Taking the workshop is a prerequisite to using our risograph printers. Monthly membership is $60. Day use rate is $40. Each print costs 8 cents and each master costs 20 cents. Members need to bring their own paper to print on.
Available ink colors: Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Teal, Brown, Purple, Fluorescent Pink, Fluorescent Orange, Light Grey.
